Sons of the Dragon is a spinoff of Game of Thrones set roughly 270 years before the events of A Game of Thrones, following the death of Aegon I Targaryen (Aegon the Conqueror) based on the novella "Sons of the Dragon" and "Fire & Blood" by George R.R Martin.
