But when an experimental treatment meant to stabilize his fractured identity is violently sabotaged, Jack is transformed into the Creeper — a terrifying, yellow-skinned, green-haired embodiment of rage, laughter, trauma, and buried truth. Across one limited season, the series follows Jack’s struggle to understand whether the Creeper is a monster, a sickness, or the most honest part of himself, as Proteus, an identity-destroying psychological terrorist, and the emerging systems of future Gotham force him to choose what kind of witness he will become.
