The game stars Atsu, a woman on a quest for revenge on the Yotei Six, a group of people who killed her family and left her for dead as a child. She returns home 16 years after the tragedy, a veteran of conflict and talented in the art of killing. She writes the names of the six on a white sash she carries with her, with the intention of crossing off each name in their blood.
