Elizabeth Afton

Elizabeth Afton is William Afton's daughter and one of the people closest to him, although she never truly understands the darkness behind her father's work. Elizabeth idolises William and is fascinated by the animatronics he creates, particularly Circus Baby. Despite William repeatedly warning her to stay away from Baby, Elizabeth's curiosity eventually gets the better of her. When she approaches Circus Baby alone, the animatronic's built-in mechanisms activate and Elizabeth is killed, causing her spirit to become trapped inside the machine. Elizabeth's personality begins to merge with Baby's programming, leaving her caught between being William's daughter and the animatronic he created. She develops a strong desire to escape the underground facility where she and the other children are imprisoned, eventually becoming one of the central personalities within the Funtime animatronics. Unlike the other children, Elizabeth still holds a complicated attachment to her father. She wants to make him proud and repeatedly tries to prove that she is useful to him, even after his actions ultimately led to her death. When the Funtime animatronics combine into Ennard, Elizabeth's consciousness remains an important part of the collective. However, the other personalities eventually reject Baby, forcing her out and leaving her to become Scrap Baby. Elizabeth's story ends when she is drawn into Henry's final trap alongside the other remaining animatronics. Despite everything William did to her, Elizabeth never truly stops seeking his approval.
