Willaim Afton

William Afton is the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment and the driving force behind much of the tragedy surrounding the company. Behind his respectable appearance is a deeply obsessive and manipulative man, fascinated by death, artificial intelligence and the possibility of overcoming the limits of human life. William's obsession gradually consumes everything around him. He experiments on both machines and people, treating those closest to him as tools for his work. His relationship with Henry eventually collapses as their opposing morals become impossible to reconcile. After the deaths of several children, William begins experimenting with the supernatural properties surrounding the animatronics, eventually discovering that their possession can be exploited. Rather than seeing the children's spirits as victims, he sees them as proof that his theories are correct. Even after his physical death, William's influence continues through the technology and legacy he leaves behind, eventually becoming the basis for the digital entity known as Glitchtrap.
