Karim Matmour

He was a key figure in the team that qualified for the 2021 World Cup after a 24-year absence. He played for several clubs—including Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Huddersfield Town—and retired at the Australian club Adelaide United. He is currently responsible for persuading dual-nationality talents to represent the national team on behalf of the Algerian Football Federation.
