Yacine Brahimi

He played professionally for Stade Rennais, Granada, Porto, Al-Rayyan, and Al-Gharafa. His honors include winning the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2021 Arab Cup, as well as league and cup titles in Portugal with Porto; he also participated in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. His key individual achievements include being named the best dribbler in La Liga (with Granada in 2014), ranking as the third-best dribbler globally across the "Big Five" leagues, and being named the best player of the 2021 Arab Cup. Despite his individual brilliance—characterized by diverse dribbling and technical skill—he never played for Europe's elite clubs, as he shared a similar issue with Ricardo Quaresma: he was a player who prioritized flair and showmanship, traits that could negatively impact complex tactical systems.
