Charlotte Emily is Henry's daughter and one of the earliest victims of William Afton's actions. After her death, Charlotte's spirit becomes attached to the Puppet, transforming it into a guardian of the children who would come after her. While the other possessed animatronics are driven primarily by anger and confusion, Charlotte develops a much stronger sense of purpose. The Puppet attempts to protect the souls of the murdered children, helping them survive beyond death and guiding them toward their animatronic vessels. Charlotte becomes one of the most important supernatural figures in the entire story. She is not simply another victim of William, she becomes someone actively trying to oppose what he has created. Even years later, her connection to the children remains strong, ultimately leading her toward Henry's final plan.
