Pomera

Pomera is a young half-elf girl who becomes one of Kanata's companions and gradually develops from an insecure and physically unimposing adventurer into a surprisingly capable member of the group. She initially struggles with confidence and often doubts her own abilities, particularly when comparing herself with the overwhelmingly powerful people surrounding Kanata, but her determination and willingness to learn allow her to steadily improve. Pomera is kind, earnest and somewhat timid, possessing a strong desire to be useful to the people she cares about rather than becoming a burden to them. She can become flustered easily and has a tendency to underestimate herself, yet when circumstances become serious she is capable of displaying considerable bravery and perseverance. Her relationship with Kanata is built upon trust and companionship, and his acceptance of her helps her gradually recognize that she has value beyond her immediate abilities. Pomera's development is therefore less about suddenly becoming overwhelmingly powerful and more about gaining confidence in herself, learning to rely upon her companions and discovering that she is capable of accomplishing far more than she initially believes.
