Monty was once the energetic and aggressive bassist of the Glamrock band, often presenting himself as confident and larger-than-life. Beneath that aggression, however, was someone desperate to be noticed. Monty wanted to be seen. He wanted recognition from the others and desperately wanted to prove that he belonged among the Glamrocks. His anger and destructive behaviour often appeared to be an extension of that insecurity, with his desire to be recognised becoming increasingly unhealthy. Under the influence of Glitchtrap, these emotions were twisted into something much more violent. His aggression became uncontrollable, but beneath it was still the same animatronic desperately wanting to matter. By the time Cassie encounters him, Monty is no longer the powerful performer he once was. His body is damaged, his systems are deteriorating, and he has been reduced to little more than a broken machine wandering through the ruins. His final encounter with Cassie ends in tragedy when she restores power to a flooded area, causing Monty to be electrocuted and killed beneath a glowing Glamrock Bonnie sign. A tragic story of Karma.
