Michael Afton

Michael Afton is William's eldest son and one of the few people who eventually attempts to undo his father's legacy. For much of his younger life, Michael blindly follows William and does not fully understand the consequences of his father's work. As he grows older, however, the truth surrounding his family becomes increasingly impossible to ignore. After discovering what happened to his family and the animatronics, Michael begins carrying out the tasks his father left behind. What begins as obedience slowly becomes a mission of his own: finding the truth and putting an end to William's creations. Michael spends years entering dangerous Fazbear locations trying to find what remained of his father. By the time Henry begins his final plan, Michael understands exactly what he has become involved in. Unlike William, Michael chooses to stay and face the consequences.
