Dutch Van Der Linde

Dutch was born to an English mother named Greta and an unnamed father of Dutch descent. He grew up somewhere in Philadelphia where he would lose his father during in the Civil War which lead to a strained relationship with his mother leading him to running away at 15, missing the death of mother. Dutch would educate himself on his own and would become a conman where he would meet Hosea and they would form the gang and recruit members over the next 2 decades including Arthur, John, Charles and Micah. Dutch would attempt to make the gang enough money to escape to the Pacific island of Tahiti but in the process of robbing a bank in Saint Denis would sustain a head injury, severely changing his personality. This would allow Micah to manipulate him into turning on Arthur and ultimately aiding Micah in killing him before moving back to mount Hagen where they would be confronted by John would would convince him to kill Micah before allowing him to escape. Dutch would later commit suicide via jumping off a cliff to escape the capture of John Marston.
