Omar Betrouni

He scored the stoppage-time equalizer in the famous 1975 Mediterranean Games final against France—a goal that extended the match and paved the way for Algeria’s 3–2 victory at the 5 July Olympic Stadium. He played for MC Alger for over a decade, serving as a key figure in the club's 1976 continental title win, as well as five league championships and three Algerian Cup victories; he later moved to USM Alger, retiring after winning the Algerian Cup for the fourth time.
